The Happy Valley estate is the second oldest of the Darjeeling tea estates and produced excellent teas until it fell into neglect in the early 2000's. The Happy Valley estate was then rejuvenated in 2007 after being sold including new processing and staff facilities. The following year Happy Valley's tea was selected by Harrods as their house Darjeeling.
