Character
Luscious real apple taste with a hint of caramel and a pale green colour.Story
The Granny Smith apple was first identified in Australian in the mid-19th century by Marie Ana Smith, an immigrant from England. While wandering down by the creek on her property Marie found an apple tree growing wild that was similar to a wild variety fund in Europe. Marie propagated the wild apples on her farm and 25 years later the Granny Smith apple won first prize in a state fair and went on to be the most popular apple we have today. To celebrate Marie’s life’s work we have created a specialtyecialty green tea blend that tastes as good as it smells with an extra fragrant Sencha leaf tea combined with cinnamon, currants and green apple pieces which creates grassy note with a crisp apple flavour.
