Character

Medium-bodied and flavoury with piquant Ceylon character. Blended with natural flavor oils of vanilla and grenadine, which impart a smooth and unique heavenly flavor.

Story

The word Grenadine comes from the French grenade which literally translates to pomegranate as grenadine was originally brewed using the juice of the pomegranate mixed with sugar. It's use today is almost exclusively as a syrup added to various cocktails including the Monk Tea Sour mocktail: in a cocktail shaker combine 120ml of pre-chilled, strongly brewed Monk tea, 40ml lemon juice, 30ml grenadine, 1 egg white, 15ml simple syrup and shake well. Add ice and shake again. Pour through a fine strainer into two pre-chilled cocktail glasses and serve with a slice of lemon.

Brew

1 tsp per cup in water at 95°c for 3-4 mins

Serve

Just as it is or with milk, honey, lemon and sugar. Try it iced
