A herbaceous green tea blend with hints of citrus and bergamot and a lingering floral finish.
Zen is the Japanese variant of Buddhism, introduced to Japan in the 8th century but didn't flourish there until the Kamakura period of the 12th century. The Japanese school is based on the Chinese Mahayana style of Buddhism, which focuses on the practices of bhavana - clearing the mind and anapanasati - mindfulness of breathing. The goal of Zen meditation has always been to gain a truer insight of oneself and our goal was to create a Japanese green tea with the Zen properties and after you try it weit we think you will agree that we've done just that.
