The mountainous Darjeeling district of western India, near Nepal, is famous for the teas that are produced there. Available in black, green, white and oolong grades and unlike most other Indian teas Darjeeling tea is made from the small leaved Chinese tea plant. Tea plants first came to the Darjeeling region when grown from seeds stolen from China by Dr Campbell, a British surgeon, in 1841 during the period of British rule. Our Darjeeling has a sharp taste and a clean and light flavour guaranteed to d to be enjoyed by all.
